New Mode of Transportation

Bryson came home from PT today with a new mode of transportation. He was liking it until he used it too much and his little legs gave out, he fell and now he wants nothing to do with it even though I made him get back on the pony! Tomorrow will be a new day.

PT and I decided we are NOT going to go through the expense of a custom wheelchair at this point for him rather modify the one we have to make it work better for him. Insurance hopefully will help with the cost. We are not expecting him to be in it all the time, but will need it for longer outings even as his legs get stronger. Those darn hips!!!

Speaking of hips, we have one appt with hip specialist the end of June and working on another one while we are in San Diego in a few weeks.

PT pointed out in xrays today that Bryson's spine is already curving. It would be so nice if they could fix his little hips. We currently are accepting all prayers for hips to be able to be corrected!

Hey girlfriend,
You can bet we will pray! I was wondering about a few of us fasting for his healing of his hips?? Whatcha think?

He looks adorable - absolutely adorable. He and Isaiah just have to get together soon, they could compare war stories....and Isaiah could tell B about how Daddy was in a hurry and didn't fasten the seat belt on the chair and Isaiah had Elijah on his lap, gripping him like every big brother who loves his little bro should and the front of the chair hit the driveway and Isaiah came spilling out and landed on his face...and of course E was underneath it all. Yeah, Daddy learned his lesson on that one (we hope)....

Love to you my friend! xo

That makes me sad that he felt disheartened after falling down. What a good mom that you had him get back up again though. I will for sure be praying, and I saw what Linn said, and if you all decide to do a fast together, please let me know. I would love to join in.

Praying for Bryson and you as you explore his options for his hips. I so wish we could have worked it out to be in town at the same time. I am game for fasting. Do you want to have a specific day? Let me know, in the mean time, prayers are flying up for him.

Oh, what a precious child! Our Ellie uses the same mode of transportation....she had hip surgery, too.
Prayers for his hips to be corrected! Our God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.

Blessings,
Robbie
