It Really Is a New Day

I don't think I am jumping the gun this time as my boy has been peacefully sleeping for an hour! Waiting on labs to see if he needs another transfusion, but would be surprised as last few hours his vitals have improved greatly! His heart rate has dropped to under 120! He has had no fever for a few hours. I have a feeling he will be off oxygen sooner than later!They have switched two of his pain meds to oral and he is tolerating it, mind you he still has epidural and has not been in any other position but flat in a bed so still has a way to go. But things are looking better by the hour as the snow falls outside our Philadelphia window.
